July 14, 2019

President Reuven Rivlin will land in South Korea for an official state visit. The visit can serve as a catalyst for an upgrading of relations between Israel and South Korea.

JCT Vice President Joins Presidential Delegation to South Korea Vice President of the Jerusalem College of Technology Stuart Hershkowitz was in South Korea last month as part of a high-level delegation accompanying Israeli President Reuven Rivlin on an official visit to the East Asian Country. In what was the first delegation of its kind to visit South Korea, President Rivlin was joined by esteemed leaders from the hi-tech and academic communities in Israel where a series of official agreements were signed for further cooperation in a variety of fields, including academia.

“My main takeaway from the trip was really just how seriously Israel is being taken as a global player,” Hershkowitz said.
