She and her husband split their time between NY and Caesarea, Israel. They have three daughters, two of whom made Aliyah to Israel and the third is planning to make Aliyah when she graduates dental school. Helene is active in many non- profit organizations. She serves on the boards of Jerusalem College of Technology, Yad Laisha – an Ohr Torah Stone program serving Agunot. She is the Treasurer of Bnai Akiva International and American friends of Midreshet Harova. She and her husband helped found Yeshiva Orayta in Jerusalem and Aleph Beta, an online resource for Torah education.
